Al-Bayaan's Mission

Since 2008, Al-Bayaan has served as a cornerstone for the Camden community, addressing key challenges such as youth crime through education, fostering togetherness, and inspiring future generations. While their focus is on empowering young people, they also provide spaces for women’s gatherings, workshops, interfaith dialogue, and activities that bring the community together. However, operating out of rented venues posed increasing challenges, pushing Al-Bayaan to seek innovative solutions for sustainability.

The challenge

Rising rental costs had made it increasingly difficult for Al-Bayaan to maintain their activities. Despite their commitment to the community, fundraising for a purpose-built centre remained an uphill battle.They needed a solution that could inspire their supporters and create a new sense of momentum for their fundraising efforts.
