Christmas 2024

Terms and Conditions for the Triple Match Pot Christmas campaign

Edited October 2024

GiveMatch is launching a new promotional campaign to benefit the charities it works with, known as the “Christmas 2024” campaign.

Other than as varied by the below, GiveMatch’s general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (the General Terms) and the services agreement between GiveMatch and the individual charity will apply to the Christmas 2024 campaign.

Promotional Period

The Christmas 2024 campaign will run from 1st December 2024 to 14th December 2024 (Promotional Period). All donations made to the Charity through the GiveMatch platform and matched during this period will be eligible for triple matching subject to the terms specified herein.

Eligibility for Triple Matching

Triple Matching means that the charity receives (i) the initial donation; and (ii) match funding equal to twice the original donation from the Match Pot.

Eligibility for, and conditions associated with triple matching will be identical to those governing Matching under the General Terms and the Services Agreement. However, the available Matching amount will be increased to Triple Matching.

Triple Matching is only available for donations which are matched during the Promotional Period. Existing donations made before the start of the Promotional Period are still eligible to be matched within the Promotional Period and qualify for Triple Matching. Only charities registered and approved by GiveMatch before or during the Promotional Period are eligible. A charity may receive multiple matched donations during the Promotional Period, in all cases up to their Match Limit.

No Additional Costs

There are no additional costs or fees for participating in the Christmas 2024 campaign beyond the usual subscription and administrative fees as detailed in the primary agreement between the charity and GiveMatch.

Reporting and Transparency

GiveMatch will provide detailed reports at the end of the Promotional Period, including the total amount of donations received, the total amount of matched funds, and the final amounts disbursed to each participating charity.

Compliance and Verification

All participating charities must comply with any additional rules and conditions of the Christmas 2024 campaign as outlined on the GiveMatch website or in any related communications.

GiveMatch reserves the right to audit and verify the eligibility of donations and matched funds.

Any donations found to be in violation of the campaign rules or the General Terms may be disqualified from receiving matching funds.

Disqualification and Fraud Prevention

GiveMatch reserves the right to disqualify any charity suspected of fraudulent activities, including but not limited to fake donations or other dishonest means to achieve Matching.

Donation eligibility and Matching are subject to verification by GiveMatch. Any suspicion of fraudulent activity will result in the suspension or withdrawal of matching funds.

Termination of the Campaign

GiveMatch reserves the right to adjust Matching terms and allocations to ensure equity among participating charities.

GiveMatch reserves the right to terminate the Christmas 2024 campaign at any time. Notice of termination will be provided to all participating charities. Upon termination, no further donations will be processed for matching, and no additional matched funds will be allocated. Charities will be informed of the termination and the status of any pending matched funds.

GiveMatch reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be updated on the GiveMatch website.
